Odds and Ends

The drive anywhere always produces a lot of photographs.  The frustrating part is that they never do justice to the beauty of the Indonesian countryside OR, the best pics don’t get taken because we’re going too fast, I get just a glimpse before it’s too late and we’re past it, or I can’t get my camera ready in time, or my phone is dead sjust when I need it.  Nevertheless, here’s a few pics from the last drive to and from Bogor.

Bogor area is home to alot of Arabs – so lots of businesses with signs in Arabic.

Crazy – motorcycles pass vehicles on both sides.  Notice the car coming the other way…no biggie….

I think rice fields are peaceful.  Reminds me of the farm fields where I grew up.
