Taman Bunga Nusantara (The Flower Park)

After our visit to The Learning Farm, we learned that the Flower Park was very close, so the we went to visit Taman Bunga Nusantara (literal translation: “Park of the Flowers of the Archipelago”.)  The drive to this area was a little over 2 hours from Jakarta this morning when we left at 7:00 am (the return trip was 3 hours!), so we decided since we had come this far, we would visit the park to save a trip.

The park is about 50 acres and is really beautiful!  They’ve created small areas of different parts of the world and feature flowers, landscaping, trees, shrubs, etc. indigenous to those areas.

Never fails – I went over to this group and said “ok, foto”, and they all cheered and gathered behind us!  It’s so fun!

It was a great visit to a beautiful park!  Heavenly Father’s handiwork is everywhere and very evident in Indonesia!
