The Beach

A couple our wheelchair appointments fell through, and we were fairly close to the beach (well, close enough – everything here takes a while to get to!), so Rian drove us to the beach, called Parangtritis.  Most beaches I’ve been to tend to be breezy, but this was anything but – hot, humid, and no breeze.  But for the middle of the week, there were still a fair amount of people there!

So, we took a 10-minute ride up and back – 40,000 Rp ($3.00).  Everyone was watching the bule’s!

The driver’s name was Welasono; the horse was Imelsaludra

Beachside foodstand – fish, shrimp, crab.  It sits there all day, so we tend not to eat it.
